BARTOW, Fla. – The video used to launch the Florida Department of Citrus’ “There’s Amazing Inside” campaign won an Award of Excellence in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards, which honors outstanding communications and marketing.
The video, which was created by The Food Group, a full-service agency with a focus on food marketing, received recognition in the branded content category. It debuted at the Florida Citrus Commission meeting in Bonita Springs, Fla. in 2014 and helped launch a year of change at the Department.
“Our long-standing relationship with the Florida Department of Citrus is built on partnership, collaboration and trust – all the things we believe are the foundation for award-winning work,” said Mark Cotter, CEO of The Food Group. “We are thrilled to be a part of redefining the Florida Department of Citrus brand in a new way that inspires consumers through meaningful and engaging content.”
Doug Ackerman, executive director of the FDOC, added: “We have witnessed first-hand the creativity and dedication The Food Group puts into every project they do. This is a well-deserved award for an outstanding company.”
