BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – In celebration of Florida Citrus growers, Blue Moon Brewing Company donated $10,000 to help promote Florida Citrus.

Blue Moon’s Brian Reames presented a check to the Florida Citrus Commission Wednesday during its meeting held before the start of the Florida Citrus Industry Annual Conference in Bonita Springs. The Florida Department of Citrus will use the donation to fund public relations activities for the industry.

FDOC partnered with Blue Moon in early 2015 for the “Artfully Garnished” campaign. Spanning retail and foodservice locations throughout Florida, the campaign aimed to highlight the affinity between Blue Moon and Florida Citrus growers through creative co-branded point-of-sale signs, rebates, glassware, coasters and more.

“It is a significant investment – but, beyond the dollar value, I hope you also see how amazing it is that these partners have seen what Florida growers do and care enough about it to step up to the plate in this way,” said Doug Ackerman, executive director of the FDOC. “We have thoroughly enjoyed their collaboration and partnership, and we look forward to more of the same in the months to come.”
