“She’s the perfect fit.”

BARTOW, Fla. – FOX Sports broadcaster and ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” co-host Erin Andrews is a new face of Florida Citrus.

The Florida Department of Citrus partnered with the Florida-native this month to help spread the word of the nutritional benefits and great flavor of 100% Florida Orange Juice.

“Having grown up in Florida, Erin has the sunny disposition and naturally energetic personality that’s reminiscent of Florida OJ,” said FDOC Public Relations Director David Steele. “She’s the perfect fit to help us remind Americans why they love OJ and how this delicious beverage can help support a healthy diet while fueling a busy lifestyle.”

As part of the $200,000 partnership, Andrews is expected to tout the amazing benefits of drinking Florida Orange Juice on television shows and at events in Los Angeles and New York City this year.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Andrews began her career in Tampa as a Tampa Bay Lightning reporter for Sunshine Network. Her father, award-winning investigative reporter Steve Andrews,  is a fixture in the community as well.

Andrews previously spent eight years working as a sports reporter for ESPN. She appeared on the 10th season of Dancing with the Stars and became co-host of the ABC show in 2013.

About the Florida Department of Citrus

The Florida Department of Citrus is an executive agency of Florida government charged with the marketing, research and regulation of the Florida citrus industry.  Its activities are funded by a tax paid by growers on each box of citrus that moves through commercial channels.  The industry employs nearly 76,000 people, provides an annual economic impact close to $9 billion to the state, and contributes hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenues that help support Florida’s schools, roads and health care services.
