In an Associated Press piece, Tamara Lush reports that the Farm Bill allocates $125 million over the next five years for research to solve citrus greening that threatens Florida’s $9 billion citrus industry.
The funds will be doled out in yearly installments of $25 million with another $6.5 million to be sent to a group formed to combat greening.
