The Ledger published Kevin Bouffard’s review of a new novel by author Robert Allen Morris entitled, “Florida Gold.”
The book chronicles the rise of the Florida citrus industry and early citrus culture during the 20th-century incorporating a few fictional elements and characters based on real individuals and events.
The article notes, “The Florida citrus industry could use a hero, even a fictional one, as it fights for survival against the bacterial disease citrus greening.”
