Baking cookies is a holiday pastime for families around the world. We like to add Florida Citrus to our recipes for a homegrown taste. Try our Florida OJ Spiced Cookies featuring the amazing flavor of Florida Orange Juice that everyone will love.
- ⅔ cup Florida Orange Juice
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. grated Florida Orange peel
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375° F.
- In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to combine sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add sour cream and eggs and blend well.
- Add remaining cookie ingredients and mix well.
- Place rounded spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a non-greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
- Remove from cookie sheet to cool, then serve.
