Florida Orange Juice Orange Lettuce Wraps

Looking for an easy afternoon snack or something to pass around the dinner table? Try this citrus twist with these lettuce wraps.

Ingredients

• 1 cup Florida Orange Juice • 1 head of butter lettuce • 2 lb lean ground beef  • 2 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce • ½  teaspoon sesame oil • 2 tablespoon smoked paprika • 1 teaspoon fish sauce  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes • 2 teaspoons canola oil • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 2 teaspoons ginger, grated  • ½ red onion, diced and sauteed  • ½ cup cilantro, chopped  • ¼ cup red Thai chiles, thinly sliced • Crushed peanuts

Preparation

Directions: • Rinse lettuce leaves and pat dry, being careful not to tear them and set them aside. • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with cooking oil. Add beef to the hot skillet and cook until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease; leaving the beef in the skillet. • Add sauteed onion, ginger, and garlic followed by soy sauce, sesame oil, Florida Orange Juice, water, and crushed red pepper flakes. • Bring to a boil, cook, and stir for about 2-5 minutes until thickened.  • Arrange by placing the meat mixture in the center of lettuce cups and garnishing with red Thai chiles, crushed peanuts, and cilantro!
