- Place ingredients for Sausage Filling in a bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine.
- To assemble, place dumpling wrappers flat on a lightly floured surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of Sausage Filling in the center of each wrapper.
- Lightly brush the area around the filling with beaten egg. Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges between two fingers to seal. Place on a well-floured plate and cover with a damp towel.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of canola oil in a nonstick sauté pan over medium heat.
- Sauté half of the dumplings until light brown on both sides. Remove and sauté remaining dumplings in remaining 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Return all dumplings to the pan, carefully add ¼ cup water and cover tightly with lid. Cook until water evaporates, checking often so dumplings do not stick.
- Cut 1 dumpling in half to see if Sausage Filling is fully cooked. If dumplings are not fully cooked, add a few tablespoons water and continue cooking for several minutes or until done.
- Serve immediately with Florida Orange Ponzu Sauce.
